The family of Mrs. Capers will have a Celebration of Life Service in her honor on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. A Walk-Thru Viewing will take place on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. These Services will take place at the Rev. Bryan McNeal, Sr. Memorial Chapel - 4129 Highway 17 North - Awendaw, SC. The Interment will follow at the Oceanview Cemetery - Mt. Pleasant, SC. MASKS are required for ALL attendees. She is survived by her children: Tia LaMonte Thomas and Reginald Thomas (Cheryl); siblings: William Horry (Diane), Nancy DeDe (Merlin) and Herbert Horry (Sandra); sisters-in-law: Elsie Horry and Hattie Horry; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Ernest Capers; parents: William Horry and Evelyn Polite Horry; siblings: Julius "Clabber" Horry and Charles "Cooti", "Boss-Hog" Horry.
