Mr. Willie Lamont McDaniel, Sr., 54, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Theteka Evans McDaniel; mother: Gloria Watson McDaniel; children: Willie Lamont McDaniel, Jr., Dior Evans, and Dollyiah Evans; bonus children: Damond Evans, Dakereon Joyner, and D'vonte Joyner; grandchildren: Kahlani Joyner and Lyric Joyner; siblings: Gary McDaniel (April), Whitney McDaniel, and Courtney McDaniel; aunts: Charlene Watson, Susan Moore, Brenda Meacham, Laverne Burns, Janet Davis, and Barbara Davis; uncles: Edward White, Keith Watson, Kenneth Watson, and Charles Watson; mother-in-law: Sylvia F. Evans; and brothers and sister-in-law: Terrell Brown, Mark Brown, Anthony Felder, Jone Evans Dixon, Jesika Evans, Izetta Brown Gadsden, and Linetta Coaxum Drayton. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie McDaniel.

Mr. McDaniel worked as Truck Driver with the International Longshoreman Association Local 1422.
