Mr. William Bryant Steed, 80, of Awendaw, South Carolina entered eternal rest on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He is survived by the nephews he helped in raising: Jeffrey B. Steed (Pamela), Patrick B. Steed (Tina), and Xavier "PuDa" Gray; sisters-in-law: Willa Mae Steed of Ten Mile Awendaw and Kathleen Steed of Denver, Colorado; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Estelle Manigault Steed; father: James Steed, Sr.; siblings: Richard Steed, Hazel Steed, Leon "Bill" Steed (Bell), James Steed, Jr. (Rev. Anna Steed), Maxie Steed, Edward "Eddie" Steed (Georgie Mae), John Sherrill Steed, Arthur Steed, Letha Steed, Delores Steed and Ruth Gray (Henry); and nieces and nephews: James "Pop" Steed, III, Wilbur L. Steed, Mark Gray, and Mary Alice Steed-Johnson (Allen).
