Mrs. Vivian McKenzie, 83, of New York, New York (formerly of the Buck Hall Section of McClellanville, SC), entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2025. Vivian is survived by her spiritual daughter, Brittney Jones, of Georgia; four nieces, Evelyn Davis, Doris Davis, Mary Pinckney, all of New York, Betty Thompson, of South Carolina; nephews, John Thompson of New York, Jerome Smith, Sylvester Smith, Hermie Sanders and Joe Joe Sanders; one adopted sister, Rosemary Washington, of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Maebell McKenzie of South Carolina; two goddaughters—Carla Kelly, and Breyana Holcomb, of New York; four godsons, Leo Sanders Jr., Larry White Jr., of South Carolina, Sean Davis and Darnell, of New York; special friend, Liz Brown, of South Carolina; a host of grandnieces, grandnephews, along with many other family members and friends whose lives she touched profoundly.
You are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Greater Howard AME Church - 8592 Old Georgetown Road - McClellanville, SC 29458. The Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. There will be a viewing on Friday, August 8, 2025, 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. in the Rev. Bryan McNeal, Sr. Memorial Chapel.
