Mr. Virgil Smith, 73, of the 10-mile community of Awendaw, SC entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Gerry Robertson Smith; his children: Roshard Smith (Lawanda), Danielle Smith and Dawn Smith; grandchildren: Madison Smith, Avery Smith, Carter Mayes, Cain Mayes, Tyson Smith; great grandchildren: Logan Jones; siblings: Henry Smith III (Thelma), Bernadette Durant (Fredrick) and Herbert Leslie Smith (Lorena), and a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents the late: Henry Smith Jr and Sadie Ann Pinckney, sister: Regina Smith. He was a retired Homicide Law Enforcement Detective.
