Mr. Vernon R. "Butter" Hill, 69, of North Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Thursday February 11, 2021.

The relatives of Mr. Hill will celebrate his life at a private Graveside Service on Friday, February 19, 2021 12:00 NOON at Monrovia Cemetery.

Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Samantha Hill; children: Tawanna Bryant-Osborne, Tyshawn Brown, Martha Mack, and Antonio Pinckney; step-son, Nathaniel James Frost; siblings: Darryl Hill White (Rev. Robert), Arthuree Hill Lesesne, Jacquetta Russell, Debra Abraham, and James Bowman, Sr.; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harold R. Hill and Coralee Wright Hill; son, Vernon Mack, and sister, Linda Jones.

Viewing for Mr. Hill will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.

Mr. Hill worked in the Horticulture Department for the City of Charleston.
