Mrs. Thelma Lee Brown Ravenell, 78, of Awendaw, SC, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Ronald A. Ravenell; children: Rhonda Alicia Ravenell and Dr. Rahn Antonio (Dr. Tamika B.) Ravenell, Sr.; grandchildren: Rahn Antonio Ravenell, Jr. (RJ) and Roman Andrew Ravenell; sibling: Dr. Timothy D. Brown; aunts: Sallie (Sarah) McClain (Reverend Dr. Edward A. McClain, Jr.), Lillie White (Wife of the Late Reverend Dr. Arthur White, Sr.), uncle: Lawrence E. Berry; Step mother-in-Law: Earthalee Nesbitt; sisters-in-law: Karen A. Ravenell and Lila Wilson; brothers-in-law: George Nesbitt, Sr. (Hazel), Anthony Nesbitt (Cheryl) and Fredrick Nesbitt, Sr. (Michelle); goddaughter: Asjah Collins and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: The Late Thelma Wilson Brown and The Late Tim Brown; siblings: Harry Wilson, Frank Wilson and Betty Jean Brown Parrott (William); mother-in-law: The Late Mary Ravenell-Goodwine; father-in-law: The Late George Nesbitt, Sr.

Thelma was a Retired Supervisor of Electric Services at South Carolina Electric and Gas/ SCANA now Dominion Energy.
