Mr. Stephen Noel Whitlock, 66 of Huger, South Carolina entered into eternal rest on May 29th 2026. Born on June 19, 1959, he was the son of the late Edward S. Whitlock Sr. and Georgiana deMore Whitlock McNaughton.

Steve found happiness in life's simple pleasures— and was most content sitting on his back porch bird watching with his wife Charlene Ward Whitlock of 18 years.

Steve was recently retired from General Dynamics where he was a devoted employee. Steve also found time to follow in his father footsteps and became a Mason and a member of Hammerton Lodge # 332, A.F.M.

In addition to his parents, Stephen was preceded in death by his sister Anne W. Googe, his brother David G. Whitlock and his step-father John McNaughton.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Charlene, who shared in the journey of his life and stood beside him through its many adventures. He leaves behind his brother, Edward "Eddie" Whitlock, Jr. and his beloved nieces and nephews, family and friends who will remember him with love and miss him dearly.

The family will honor the life of their treasured loved one privately, without holding a public service or gathering.
