Ms. Serita Y. Young, 67, of Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 25, 2022.

Ms. Young is the daughter of the late Mr. Carl Young, Sr. & Mrs. Margaret Brooks Young; mother of Tamika Young, Margaret Young, and Jocelyn Young; god-mother of Brittany Moore and Danielle Wiggins Marion Pearson; grandmother of Joseph Young, Sr. (Alasha), Ra'Shon Young, Payton Brown, Paisley Brown, Paris Bolton, Peyton Ryans, and Joseph Young, Jr.; the sister of the late Mr. Carl Young, Jr.; the niece of the late 1st Sgt. Elliss Cunningham and Mrs. Lucille P. Cunnigham; and the devoted friend of Mr. Vernon Curnell.

Ms. Young was a retired Educator.
