Ms. Young is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph and Hattie Kinlaw; the mother of Jacqueline Kinlaw, Oliver Young, Jr. (Cynthia), Robert Burgess and Yolonda Burgess; the sister of Mary Louis Ramsey, Kwame Kinlaw, Marquis Kinlaw, Rev. William Kinlaw, James Kinlaw (Valire), Eva Kinlaw, Adam Kinlaw, George Kinlaw, Kenneth Kinlaw and the late Joe Kinlaw, Jr. and Mary K. Brown; and the niece of Joseph Ramsey, Pinckney Hamilton (Lillie) and Loretta McNeal.
She was 76 years old.
