Mr. Peter Rutledge, Jr., 83, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 28, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Lucretta Rutledge, Thelma L. Rutledge, Angelia LaPrince (Albert), and Dwayne Rutledge; 14 grandchildren; siblings: Lillian Brown, Andrew Rutledge, Ethel McPherson, Beatrice Jenkins, Juliette Johnson, Leroy Jones, Margaretta Jones, Veronica Smalls, Linda McPherson, Mary Alice Brown (Chris), Johnathan McPherson, and Gwendolyn Campbell (John); and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Thelma Rutledge; daughter: Penella Ladson; parents: Solomon McPherson, Sr. and Florence Williams; and siblings: Solomon McPherson, Jr., Freddie McPherson, Sarah Johnson, John Smith, Thelma Brown, Elizabeth Simmons, Peter Marshal, James Rutledge and Henry McPherson. He was a Dairy Worker and Bartender.
