Mrs. Lula Mae Green Gourdine, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Marcella Denise Gross, Shonda Marie Andrews (Wayne) and Henry Lamont Gourdine; grandchildren: Donte L. Gross, Alexandria L. Sanders, ABEAN Gabriel M. Gourdine, USN and Sasha K. Gourdine; her brother, LeRoy Judge and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Gourdine, Jr; siblings: Rosa Lee Scott, Albert Scott, William Scott, Wilhemena McBride and Ernest Scott.

Lula retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse, spending over 37 years with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Charleston, dedicating her skills to aiding the care of our military service members.
