Mrs. Lucille Haynes Washington, 92, of Charleston, South Carolina entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
She is survived by her son, Peter J. Washington; grandchildren: Michelle Haynes, Olympia Haynes, Arkim Haynes, Kristina Washington Davis, Lydia Gibson Cecil, and Andrew Gibson; great-grandchildren: India Haynes, Kamerin Haynes, Keon Davis, and Zoya Cecil; and sisters: Gladys Lloyd (Jessie) and Jeanette Haynes.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Herman Washington; and parents: Lawton Haynes and Emma Joy Haynes.
Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Washington is Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Jerusalem Baptist Church,684 Rutledge Avenue, Charleston, SC 29403. Viewing will be on Friday, November 22, 2024, 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the church. Interment: Sunset Memorial Garden, 2915 Ashley Phosphate Road - North Charleston, SC 29405 The Service will be LIVE-STREAMED via the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home FACEBOOK PAGE!
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Lucille's name to a charity of choice.
