Ms. Joyce "Joy" Marilyn Brown, 73, of McClellanville, SC, entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 8, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at Bethel AME Church, 464 Society Rd., McClellanville, SC. The Interment will follow in the Church's Cemetery. Viewing for Ms. Brown will take place on the day of her service at 10:00 AM - 10:50 AM. She leaves to cherish her memories her son: Miguel N. Brown; siblings: Martha Carter, Delores Carter, Cherlyn A. Brown, and Clarence E. Brown: sisters-in-law: Janice Brown and Renee Brown; and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: James Henry Brown, Sr. and Dorothy Singleton Brown; siblings: Phillip Morris White, James Henry Brown, Jr. and Rodney Michael Brown, Sr.

She was a (Retired) Food and Nutrition Operator employed with the Charleston County School District.
