He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Joseph Emory Swinton, IV and Jeremiah Emory Swinton; grandchildren: Genesis Nicole Swinton, Sebastian Emory Swinton, Alexis Starr Smith and Brooklyn Hope Baptis; parents: Rev. Joseph Swinton, Jr. and Rev. Rosetta Swinton; siblings: Daniel Lamar Swinton, Nia Joy Swinton-Jenkins (Keith) and Virgil Green; aunts: Helen Burns, Shirley Grant, Cynthia Swinton, Cheryl Weston, Alma J. Brown, Linda J. Oree (Rev. Joseph Oree), Alice Horlback, Maureen Turner (Leon), Sarah McPherson (Herman) and Grash McLaurin; uncles: James F. Swinton, Frank Jenkins, Rev. Abraham Jenkins (Rev. Diane) and Charles Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his mother: Judy Swinton. He was an Electrician.
