Mr. Joe Marvin Green, Sr., 62, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 13, 2024. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, April 20, 2024, 11:00 AM at Olive Branch AME Church - 1734 Highway 17 North - Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. The Interment will follow in the Church's Cemetery. The Wake Service for Mr. Green will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Olive Branch AME Church - 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, The Family will receive friends from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Joe was preceded in death by his parents: Freddie Green, Sr., and Annie E. Green; father-in-law: Solomon Mazyck; and brother-in-law: Charles R. Mazyck. He is survived by his wife: Doris Mazyck Green; children: Joe Marvin Green, Jr., Charles Green, and Charlton Green; siblings: Floretha Dentley, Freddie Green, Jr., Leon O. (Audrey) Green, Sr., Ida D. Green, Annette G. (Jackie) Washington, Jeanette G. Smith, Jerome L. Green (Dorothy), Claudette Green-Shirer (Kevin), and Keon J. (Robyn) Edwards; mother-in-law: Gloria A. Mazyck; sisters-in-law: Lorraine McLaurin (Prentice), Hattie W. (Arthur) Brown, and Aggie Roper; and brother-in-law: Daniel (Felicia) Wilson.
