Mr. James Myers, 89, of Huger, SC entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Monday, June 26, 2023, at noon at Steward United Methodist Church, 2469 Cainhoy Road, Huger, South Carolina. The Interment will follow at Lavance Cemetery in Huger, SC. A viewing will be held at the Rev. Bryan McNeal, Sr. Memorial Chapel on Sunday, June 25, 2023, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Mary Kinloch Myers; son: Anthony Collins; two grandchildren; parents: Major and Minnie Myers; and five siblings.

James leaves to cherish fond memories to his children: Carl Myers (the late, Claire), Stacey Brown (Amondus), Jeffery Myers (Joyce), Maxine Britt (Lamont), Kimberly Lesesne (Alfred), Edmund Pinnacle (Kathy), Jannie Freeman, Cammeyetta Taylor, and Owen Taylor; 25 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

He is a veteran of the United States Army.
