He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Brittney Middleton Ogike (Ikenna) and James Khristian Middleton (Samantha); grandchildren: Chizarankem Ogike, Ikemba Ogike, Audrielle Middleton, James Khash Middleton, and Chimezuru Ogike; his mother: Juanita Middleton and sister: Vanessa Middleton. He was preceded in death by his father: Mr. James L. Middleton, I.

He was a Retired Checker with the International Longshoremen Association (ILA).
