Mr. James "Snake" Grey, 63, of Charleston, SC, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 7, 2023. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at St. James A.M.E. Church - 8004 Highway 17 North - McClellanville, SC. The Interment will follow in the Church's Cemetery. A Walk-through viewing will take place at the Rev. Bryan McNeal, Sr. Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 - 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Marlethia Robinson, Carlton Grey (Shatoya), Travis Grey, Bessie Grey and Donnell Grey; grandchildren; sibilings: Arthur Grey, David Grey (Teresa) and Carmel Poole (Bernard); aunts: Alfreda Young, Josephine Belthrop, Shirley Grey and Alvena Grey; uncle: Irving Robinson (Christine); sisters-in-law: Vel Robinson, Gerri Morris and Vanessa Robinson; brothers-in-law: Slyvester Robinson, Jerome Robinson, St. Julian Robinson and Alozna Dennis; and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Rosalyn Grey; son: James Grey, Jr. and parents: Norten Young and Bessie Grey.
