Mr. Isiah Young, 81, of Hopkins, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on September 22, 2026. His Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Nebo A.M.E. Church - 5600 Hwy 17 North, Awendaw, SC. The Interment will follow in the church's cemetery. Public Viewing for Mr. Young will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 in the Rev. Bryan McNeal, Sr. Memorial Chapel, 4129 Hwy 17 North, Awendaw, SC - 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. He is survived by his children: Demetria D. Young, Shimika L. Young, Jaquita S. Randolph and Jervay Porcher; grandchildren: Marsalis Lindsy, Christien Daniels, Hassanna Greene, Icis Brown, Qadira Foster, Alfred Brown, Sr., Jervaila Brown, Javier Brown, Ayuanna Porcher, Jamar Porcher, Latracia Porcher, and Jervay Porcher, Jr.; siblings: Louvenia Y. Simmons, James D. Young (Rev. Muzetta), Sadie Y. Green (James), Leroy Young (Barbara), and Raymond Young (Linda); sisters-in-law: Saundra Knolton, Denise Perkins, and Patricia Williams-Crawford; and brother-in-law: Michael Williams. He was preceded in death by his wife: Debra Jean Young; parents: Freddie Young and Albertha Young; and brother-in-law: Herman Simmons. He was a retired United States Army Sergeant.
