Mr. Herbert Jackson, Jr., 68, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Mr. Jackson leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Linda G. Jackson; children: Roberta Jackson, and Herbert Jackson, III (Raven); grandchildren: Andjoua Jackson, Jaylyn L. Jackson, Cynthia T. Jackson and Herbert Jackson, IV; sister: Mary Pearl Singleton (Authur); mother-in-law: Ethel Hearn; sisters-in-law: Janice Hearn, Yvonne Heyward and Sonya Hearn; brothers -in-law: Sgt. Kenneth L. Smalls, Sgt. Eric E. Hearn (Nicole), and Bobby L. Hearn (Tonya); and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Jackson was a Military Veteran. Mr. Jackson was preceded by his parents: Herbert Jackson Sr. and Corrine B. Jackson; siblings: Hermena Glover, Delores McDonald, Martha J. Bailey and Inez C. Gilliard.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 - 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home - 2119 Dorchester Road - N. Charleston, SC 29405. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Wesley United Methodist Church - 446 Meeting Street - Charleston, SC 29403. The Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens - 2915 Ashley Phosphate Road, North Charleston, SC 29418. The Service will be Live-Streamed on the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home's Facebook Page.
