Mr. Harry Lee King, 81, of Awendaw, South Carolina, entered eternal rest on September 3, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Noon at Mt. Bebo A.M.E. Church - 5600 Hwy 17 North, Awendaw, SC. The Interment will follow in the Church's Cemetery. He is survived by his wife: Shirley King; children: Curtis King (Cynthia), Harry Bernard King (late, Naieema), Eric King (Debbie), Sylainna Rivers (Rhashad), and Derrick Gilliard; grandchildren: D'Angelo Bernard King Taylor, Me'Kel King, Kha'Dejah King, Aaliyah King, Saniah Rivers, and Rhamello Rivers; 2 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ernest King (Estelle), Ethel Mims (late, James), Iona Rowan (Wenzel), and Edward King (Theresa); in-laws: Deloris Wright (late, Isaiah), Alice Simmons (Isaiah), Margaret Gilliard, Wilamae Gilliard, and Ethel Gilliard. He was preceded in death by his parents: Clyde King, Sr. and Rosa Lee Bennett; siblings: Clyde King, Jr. (late, Flossie) and Patricia Smith (late, Christopher); father-in-law: Isaiah Gilliard; mother-in-law: Wilhelmina Gilliard, and other in-laws: Doris Johnson (Marion), Ethel Sharon Gilliard, and Cleophus Gilliard, Sr. (late, Ernestine).
