Mr. Gerald L. Dennis, 77, of Johns Island, SC entered eternal rest on Monday, April 28, 2025.

Mr. Dennis leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Sylvia Dennis; mother-in-law, Emma Gadsden; loving children: Shauntay Dunning (Jeremy) and Jessie Brown, II; grandchildren: Shiann, Jaiden, Ayanna, Kingston, and Karter Dunning; sister, Rev. Joann Fields; brothers-in-law: Harry Gadsden & family, Harold Gadsden & family, Lugman Rasheed (Ajeenah) & family, Johnny Gadsden & family, and Steven Gadsden (Samantha) & family; nieces: Robin Tyus, Nahkia Echols (Andre) and Monicanne Lee (Travis); nephew, Gerald O. Fields; cousins: David Ferguson (Carmen), Joyce Bryan and Carolyn Fields & family; and a host of grandnieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Dennis. A special thanks goes out to lifelong friends of Mr. Dennis: Gerard "Skip" Mikell, David Edwards and Zama Cook.

Mr. Dennis was a Retired Postman of 42 years.
