Mr. Fred Fordham, Sr., 87, of North Charleston, SC, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.The family will celebrate his life with a Home-going Service on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, 12:00 Noon, at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church, 44 Nassau Street, Charleston, SC. The Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens, 7113 Rivers Avenue, N. Charleston, SC. The Viewing for Mr. Fordham will take place on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home - 2119 Dorchester Road - N, Charleston, SC and on Wednesday morning 11:00 AM - 11:50 AM at Ebenezer AME Chuch. He is survived by his children: Cheryl F. (Decatur, II) Wilson and Fred Fordham, Jr.; grandchildren: Decatur Wilson, III, Lauren E. Wilson, Fred Fordham, III and Ashleigh S. Fordham; siblings: Jerry B. Fordham, Jr., James L. (Yvonne) Fordham, Sr. and Jessie O. (Waddell) Fordham; sister-in-law: Jennett Williams; brothers-in-law: Roy E. Luckey and Herb Watson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He is a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a retired transportation entrepreneur.
