Mr. Eugene M. Johnson, Sr., 90, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 71 years: Betty Jackson Johnson; children: Jeanette L. Johnson, Timothy M. Johnson and Tywana Johnson Tolbert (Robert, Sr.); grandchildren: Kiesha Johnson, Maurice Johnson, Robert Tolbert, Jr., Jessica Tolbert, Tatiana Tolbert and Makayla Tolbert; eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother: Gladys Johnson Brown; son: Eugene Johnson, Jr.; grandson: Teruko (Trae) Eugene Johnson and brother: Carvin Johnson, Sr.

Profound thanks to the entire staff of the Ralph Johnson VA Hospital Community Living Center.

He retired from the Maintenance Department of Roper Hospital.
