Mr. Eugene H. Caldwell, Sr., 84, of Ladson, SC entered eternal rest Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
He is survived by his children: Brian Caldwell, Eugenia McCullum, Veronica Caldwell, Eric Caldwell, Eugene Caldwell Jr.(E'Tiffany), Keeley Caldwell and Kimberly Caldwell; grandchildren: Ta'esha Joyner(Darnell), Calvin Watkins, Khyree, Khylil, Khyon, Khyasia Caldwell, Shinelle Caldwell Elwin(Macdale), Jordan, Jared, Phoebe, Naomi Caldwell, Dylan McDaniel, Bryce Paschel, Donel Singleton III, Sebastian Kawula; fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings: James, Milton, Bessie, Wilson Jr. Caldwell, and Loraine Caldwell Moss; his partner, Chenitta Singleton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Caldwell's viewing will be held on Monday, October 7, 2024, 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Smith-McNeal Funeral Home 2119 Dorchester Road North Charleston, SC 29405. Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 10:00 am at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church 7396 Rivers Ave. North Charleston SC 29406 Interment: Beaufort National Cemetery 1601 Boundary Street Beaufort SC 29902.
Due to the burial location, the family has requested only house plants.
