Mrs. Estelle Pinckney Wright, 97, of Awendaw, SC entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 12, 2022. The family will have a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, December 17, 2022 - 11:00 A.M. at
Greater Zion AME Church - 4174 Highway 17 North - Awendaw, SC. The Interment will follow the the Church's Cemetery. There will be a Walk-Thru Viewing on Friday, December 16, 2022 - 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Reverend Bryan McNeal, Sr. Memorial Chapel - 4129 Highway 17 North - Awendaw, SC.
She is survived by her husband: Mr. John Wright, Jr.; children: Yvonne Thomas, Alifay Edwards and Carolyn Bennett (Jerome); grandchildren: Thomas Wright, Jr., V. Patrice Edwards-Jones, Tracie B. Williams, Sonya R. Williams, Teryn L. Thomas, Timothy A. Brown, Lionel Thomas, Jr., Ivan Bonaparte, Tara Pinckney, Robyn E. Conyers, Tiffany Stevenson, Jonathan Bennett and Myieshia Bennett.
She was preceded in death by two of her children: Thomas Wright, Sr. and Willi Mae Brown.
Mrs. Wright retired from domestic work.
