Ms. Emily L. Williams, 74, of Charleston, SC, entered eternal rest on Friday, January, 20, 2023.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children: Maurice WIlliams, Acquenetta Williams (Derek), and daugther-in-love:Sabrina Singleton (Bruce); grandchildren: Dr. Maurice A. Williams, Jr, Jeremy Williams, Daquan Wilson, Alana McCoy, Danielle McCoy, Laticia Singleton; great-grandchildren: Ryleigh McCoy, Royal Madden, Messiah Williams and Mariah Williams; siblings: Wilhelmina McPherson, Rev. Jessie Reid, Rev. Robert Reid; special neice: Flora "Ann" Joyner (Bug); special friend: Captian Joseph Ackerman, and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Julie Reid; siblings: Flora Myers-Smith, Jestine Reid, and Margaret Reid; aunt and uncle: Alex and Harriet G. Simpson.

She retired a Ward Clerk after 34 years at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital.
