Mr. Elijah Dawson, Sr., 79, of Mt. Pleasant, SC entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

Mr. Dawson leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Darlene Dawson; children, Elijah Dawson, Jr., Brooklynn Elizabeth Evette Dawson, Ashley Elizabeth Moore (Al), Reginald Eli Dawson (Tanika), John Dawson, Enis James, and Ryan Dawson; siblings, Ruth Wright, Isaiah Dawson (Angela), Christopher Dawson (Sabrina), Leroy Dawson, Nathaniel Dawson (Anna), and Harold Wigfall (Sherry); sisters and brothers-in-law: Geneva Moore, Pastor Olivia Brown (Clarence), Sharon Ford (Elijah), Ester Lincoln (Steven), Mygretta Richardson (Kenneth), Nathaniel Wright, Jr., Curtis Wright, Fitzgerald Wright, Lester Gene Jackson, Lisa Burns, and Thomas Wright; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bently Dawson and Rebecca Wilson Dawson; and siblings, Anna Bell Smalls, Haroline Williams, Robert Dawson, and Benjamin Dawson.
