Mr. Edward James Rivers, Sr., 70, of Middleburg, Florida (formerly of Charleston, SC), entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 12, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Joanne Rivers; children: Kevin Rivers, Edward Rivers, Jr. (Michelle Rouse), and Quinton Rivers; grandchildren: Jaquez Rivers, Autumn Rivers and Makayla Rivers; siblings: Miriam White(Abraham), Sheryl Arroyo(Jaime) and Robert Rivers, Sr.; God daughters: Ranisha Bateman and Jalynn Royal; aunt: Dorothy Robinson; sisters-in-law: Patricia White and Henrietta Royal(Jay); brothers-in-law: John White(Rosemarie), Phenious White and Samuel White(Annette) and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother: Miriam Rivers; siblings: Carol Rivers and Emily Ellerson; mother-in-law: Janie Cockrum; brother-in-law: Eugene Williams.

He was Navy Retired.
