Mr. Douglas Authur Reid, 77, of Summerville, SC entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Wilhelmenia Reid; children: Michael D. Reid (Cheryl) and Mistie Reid; step-daughter, Annette V. Cooper; grandchildren: Patricia Reid, Lauren Reid, Timia Brown, and Crystal Pringle; siblings: Dorothy Reid and Eugene M. Reid; sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruth Williamson (Julius), Shirley Platt, Alfredia Green (Clarence), Willie Cooper, Jr. (Belinda), David Cooper (Mamie), Jerry Cooper (Francina), and Alfred Cooper (Gayle). He was preceded in death by his parents: John Henry Reid and Theresa Nelson Reid; siblings: Virginia White, Ruth Reid, Francina Reid, Daphne Singletary, Margaret Richardson-Laster; Frank Reid, Fred Jones, John Henry Reid, Jr., and James Richardson; parents-in-law: Willie Cooper and Victoria B. Cooper; and sister-in-law: Mary Winkfield.

Mr. Reid was a retired Mechanic.
