Rev. Dr. Donnie R. Woods, Sr., 70, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 28, 2025.

Rev. Dr. Woods leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Teresa Woods; children: Deidre Monique Woods, Donnie R. Woods, Jr., and Donna Terese Woods; grandchildren: Jerron Malik Campbell, Jerrod Maurice Campbell, Jordan Dewan Godfrey, Josiah-David Jaylen Godfrey, Dontre Jahkel Woods, Daja Jahnay Woods, Desmond Jaheim Woods, Sasha Mae Coffee, and Cairo Emmanuel Coffee; and siblings: Darlene Woods, Doris McFarland, Ruthie Woods-Ashford, Owen Dwight Woods, George Woods, Jr., Erma Woods-Guyton, Otis Woods, Sharon Woods-Goss, Carl Woods, Clyde Woods, Alvin Woods, Kathy Woods-Randall, Patsy Woods, Tony Woods, Stephanie Woods-Edwards, and Stacey Woods-Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents: George and Opaline Woods; brother: Wyatt Timothy Woods; and sister: Dora Woods.

Rev. Dr. Woods was a retired General Presbyter and Ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament PCUSA.
