It is with broken hearts and heavy spirits, we share the news that our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Deacon Moses Montgomery, Jr., entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 30, 2025.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Michael Montgomery (Judy), M. Gerard Montgomery (Lavonda), Terrence Montgomery (Christie), Minister Latrece Montgomery-Brown (Ronald), Andrea Weston and Tracey Harris; twenty-one (21) grandchildren, twenty-five (25) great grandchildren; siblings: Evangelist Pearl Coakley, Wilhelmina Simmons and Janice Montgomery and a host of relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife: Deaconess Louise "Bernice" Montgomery; parents: Moses Montgomery, Sr. and Janie Montgomery.
Deacon Montgomery was 85 years old, a retired Veteran and Truck Driver.
The family will be receiving guests at 1900 Riverview Ave., North Charleston, SC 29405, between 2:00 - 8:00 PM.
