Mr. Daniel A. Birds Sr., 79, of Charleston, SC entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 27, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Diane M. Birds; children: Daniel Birds Jr.(Monique), Sheryl Barnwell, Dr.Kimberly Birds Gillett(Alric), Kumar Carter(Latrice), Ellatshia Barfield(Cedric) and El-Jiva Carter(Shanetta)seventeen grandchildren, one great-grandson; siblings: Anthony Birds Sr.and Charles Birds; aunts: Sustella M. Waddell and Joan O'Banner(Richard); father-in-law Ben Manigault; sisters and brothers-in-law: Angela Hicklen(Charles), Ethel Campbell, Valerie Manigault, Rev.Leslie Backman(Shanty), Benjamin Manigault(Brenda) and Arnold Manigault(Monique). He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Birds; mother, Henrietta Brown Birds and brother, Ivan Birds.
