Mr. Cleveland Smith, 93, of Huger, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 1, 2023.

Mr. Smith is survived by his children: Rev. Cindy Shaw (Timothy), Cletis Smith (Sheila), Clifford Smith (Karen), Min. Rodney Smith (Karen), Craig Smith (Rica), Reginald Smith (Stacey), Antonio Smith (Fabiola), Ray Smalls (Karen), Diane Hunterand Tayana Perrineau; grandchildren: Cierra Shaw, Brittany Shaw, Timothy Shaw, Pernell J. Edwards, Candyce Vaughn, Quentin Smith, Tiffany Smith, Breanna Smith, Gabrielle Smith, Sheldon Smith, Dominic Lawrence, Devin Smith, Courtney Smith, Joselyn Borden, Zoe Smith, Jayden Smith, Devin, Aaron, Kara, Jayna, and Jerry Burton, and David Valenzuela; siblings: Mary Lee Taylor and Isaiah Smith; sisters and brothers-in-law: Sara Crawford, Louise Porcher, Janet Wright (Rev. Levi), Patricia Richardson, Leo Richardson (Helen), Abraham Richardson (Myrtle), Sammie Richardson (Emily), and David Richardson (Rev. Victoria). He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta Smith; parents: John Smith and Rosalee Brisbane Smith; and daughter, Oleather Smith.

Mr. Smith was a retired Longshoreman.

The family will be receiving visitors at the home of Mr. Smith, 1037 Brokinrich Rd., Huger, SC 29450 between the hours of 3:00 and 7:00 PM.
