Mr. Charles Washington, 87, of Charleston, SC entered eternal rest on March 10, 2025.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his Companion: Wilhelmenia Boston; children: Charles Marvin Washington, Naomi R. Washington and Marilyn Ellis; grandchild: Rhonda Brown; great-grandchild: Tyrone Lamont Wright, II; bonus children: Sharon Boston, Tara B. Wright (Cronyn), Lonnie Boston, III (Desaree), Major Nathaniel Taylor (Erica); bonus grandchildren: Lamar Boston, Dwight Everette, Bailee Moultrie, Kevin Wright, Lonnie Boston, IV, Brandon Boston, Briana Boston, Nathaniel Taylor, Jr., Jaxon Taylor, and Lacee Taylor; bonus great-grands: Arriana Everette, Makayla Everette, Skylar Roderick and Kailani Boston. He was preceded in death by his parents: Aaron Washington and Ellen G. Brown; siblings: John Simmons, Elliott Simmons, Dorothy W. Mitchell, Elijah Simmons and Leon Simmons.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, 11:00 am at Greater Zion AME Church. The Interment will follow in the Church's Cemetery.
