Mr. Charles Johnson, Jr., 83, of McClellanville, SC, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
He is survived by his wife: Dollie A. Johnson; children: Sissi Johnson, Charles W. Johnson, III, Jeanette Johnson, Demetria Johnson, and Y'Liska Johnson-Nabach; grandchildren: Khloe McLeod and Ardaja McLeod, Jr.; and brother: James A. Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charles W. Johnson, Sr. and Earlene A. Williams; mother-in-law: Eliza C. Powell and father-in-law: Bennie E. Powell.
He was a licensed Insurance Agent. There will be a Public Viewing: Sunday, December 31, 2023,4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Rev. Bryan McNeal Sr. Memorial Chapel, 4129 Highway 17 N., Awendaw, SC 29429. The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Bethel AME Church, 464 Society Road - McClellanville, SC 29458. The Interment will follow at Bethel AME Church Cemetery - McClellanville, SC 29458.
