Mr. Abraham B. Jenkins, Sr., 96, of Johns Island, SC, entered eternal rest on Thursday May 1, 2025.

Mr. Jenkins is the father of Kenneth Don Jenkins (Gail), Demett Eva Jenkins and Brittiane V. Martin- Staton (Joseph); brother of Loretta Jenkins Saunders, Francena Jenkins Buncomb and Elaine Jenkins; brother-in-law of Alfreda Jenkins, Emma Jenkins-Smalls, Bernice Hartfeild, and Earl Buncomb. He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgetta Johnson Jenkins; parents: Esau Jenkins and Janie Bell Jones Jenkins; son, Abraham "Abe" Jenkins, Jr.; siblings: Esau Jenkins, Jr., Marie Jenkins Jones, Ethel Jenkins Grimball, James Jenkins, Herbert Jenkins, Esau Jenkins, III and Elizabeth Jenkins.

Mr. Jenkins was a US Air Force Retired Major and Retired Vice President with Sea Island Comprehensive Healthcare Center.

Mr. Jenkins viewing will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025 - 1:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home - 2119 Dorchester Road - N. Charleston, SC 29405. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 11:00 A.M at Wesley United Methodist Church - 2718 River Road Johns Island, SC 29403. The Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The Service will be Live-Streamed on the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home's Facebook Page.
