The relatives and friends of Mrs. Verdel "Peggy" Elliott are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday, October 12, 2019 11:00 AM at Friendship AME Church, 204 Royall Ave., Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. Interment: Oceanview Cemetery Mrs. Elliott is survived by her daughters: Ms. Alicia Jones and Mrs. Wanda Yates (Howard); siblings: Ms. Virginia Boyd and Mr. Richard Allen Singleton (Orseanith); and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Mrs. Elliott will be on the day of service at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. She was 74 years old and a Human Resource Director for Afro America Newspaper.
