Mrs. Sybil Suriyaniel

August 11, 1974 - March 31, 2022

Sybil Suriyaniel passed away on a rainy afternoon, March 31, 2022, at the age of 47. She passed peacefully in her home in Charleston, South Carolina, with her family at her side. Sybil was a loving mother, wife, and best friend. She is survived by her husband, Strett, her eldest daughter Maris (8y/o), twins Mallory(5 y/o) and Ben (5 y/o), and her two beloved chihuahuas, Lolie and Polie. Sybil grew up in a small Pennsylvania town. Sybil was kind, funny and, very loyal. She was a gymnast, cheerleader and an accomplished equestrian. After high school Sybil went away to college, graduated and her first job which brought her to California. It was in California that Sybil decided to continue her education and became a Registered Nurse and then Nurse Practitioner. Sybil worked as a Surgical/Orthopedic nurse and a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner. Her calling in life was helping and counseling patients, friends and strangers. Sybil had a heart of gold and would move mountains to help people. Sybil had such an amazing sparkle in her eyes that held such kindness; her smile lit up the sky. She loved her life and her family. Sybil’s greatest joy came when she became a mother. She loved being pregnant, giving birth and experiencing the unconditional love that parents have for their children. She was so in love with all her children. They have unbreakable bonds like the invisible string of gravity. Sybil had said that she had lived many lifetimes. She knew she was very blessed with the life she had. She had traveled the world, lived life to the fullest, loved and experienced great loss. She had no regrets. Sybil was a beautiful person who had a beautiful soul. She was truly one of a kind. “You still live on in the hearts and minds of the loving family you left behind.” A public celebration of her life is yet to be determined.
