Mr. Darryl B. Jenkins, 65, formerly of Charleston, SC, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in Raleigh, NC. The family will celebrate his life with a service on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Morris Brown AME Church - 13 Morris Street - Charleston, SC 29403. The Interment will follow at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery - 3715 Azalea Drive - N. Charleston, SC 29405. There will be a Walk-thru Viewing on Thursday, July 21, 2022 - 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at the Smith-McNeal Funeral Home - 2119 Dorchester Road - N. Charleston, SC 29405. He is survived by his wife, Angela Jenkins; sons: Darryl Jenkins, Jr. and Dustin Jenkins; grandson: Jaysson Lamar Otero-Jenkins; mother: Ruby Jenkins; siblings: Cara Jenkins, Leslie Jenkins, Jametta Jenkins, Yvette Miller, Deborah Harrison, Michael Jenkins and James Jenkins; nieces and nephews: Isacc Jamison (Aticha), Chiara Benton, Mary Jane Benton, Jessica Jenkins, Jennifer Jenkins, Ashley Hunter (Travis Paluch), Terry Hunter, Alexis Davis, Keyanna, Thomas, Jr., Keyala, Jada, Edward, Christina, Ydi and Juma; sister-in-law: Juanita Cotton; brother-in-law: Jonathan Cotton; aunt by marriage: Margaret Phason; cousins by marriage: Lydia, Linda, Brian and Steve; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: James Jenkins; sister: Joan Jenkins; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Edward and Frances Cotton; uncle by marriage: Arthur Phason; niece by marriage: Rashima; and cousins by marriage: Daryl and Kenneth.
