Mr. Dilligard is the husband of his devoted wife of 45 years, Barbara; the father of 2 children, Latonya Dilligard Edwards and Kara D. Dilligard; the son of the late Rufus and Catherine Dilligard; brother of; Claudette Hart (Darryl); nephew of Mary Frazier and Joe Frasier; son-in-law of Bessie Dawson; brother-in-law of Joseph Dawson, Jr. (Prestyne), Sarah D. Williams (Johnnie), Ralph C. Dawson (Leslie), Aaron Jose Dawson (Pearlene), Lloyd K. Dawson, Hershula R. Davis (Davey), Derrick Dawson (Florence), Kevin Dawson (Juliet), Troy Dawson (Kimberly) and Marilyn D. Brown (Darryl). Mr. Dilligard was 69 years old and a Retired Naval Shipyard Quality Assurance Rep. He was a dedicated and active member of Morris Brown AME Church.
