Mr. Singleton is the husband of Mrs. Josephine A. Singleton; the son of Mrs. Althea B. Lennen and the late Benjamin Singleton; the father of Mrs. Nicole Robinson-Ellis (Curtis), Mr. Jerome J. Singleton (Donnice), Mr. Xavier V. Singleton (Erecka), Mr. Gemayel A. Singleton, and Mrs. Katrina Wright-Jenkins; the grandfather of Jaylin Ellis, Juwaun Wallace, Skylar Singleton, Ge'Mere Singelton, Amber Singleton, Ge'Mya Singleton, JaKya Singleton, Brianna Singleton, Bernard Jenkins, Alexander Jenkins, and Cameron Jenkins; the brother of Mrs. Andrea Gourdine, Mr. Karl Singleton, Mrs. Bernadette Nelson (Charles), Mrs. Althea Seabrook (Ronald), Miss Vicky Jamison, Mr. Ervin Gourdine, Miss Lavekia Lennen, Mrs. Doris White (Leroy), and Mrs. Thelma Gaillard; the brother-in-law of Mrs. Gloria Burnett (Nathaniel), Mr. Earl Lawrence (Shirley), Mrs. Barbara Gathers, Miss Barbara White, Miss Cynthia Robinson, Mr. Phillip Robinson, Jr., Miss Julia Underwood, Mr. Dale Robinson, Mr. Anthony Robinson (Lisa), Mr. Darrell Washington and Miss Demetria Washington; and the nephew of Mr. Lonnie Singleton, Mrs. Millie Martin, Miss Miriam Gourdine and Miss Louise Gourdine. Mr. Singleton retired from the College of Charleston's Paint and Maintenance Shops. Mr. Singleton was 65 years old and a retired employee of College of Charleston Paint and Maintenance Shops.
