Mrs. Jannett Walters Drayton, 74, of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 19, 2021. Obituary Jannett Walters Drayton, daughter of the late Mr. Joseph Washington and the late Mrs. Mary Washington was born, December 27, 1946 in Charleston, South Carolina. Jannett was educated in the public schools of Charleston county. She was a dedicated member of the House of God Church until her transition to be with the Lord. She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at the Reform House of God under the leadership of the late Bishop Aaron Moore. She loved music. In 1984, Jannett was united in marriage to Mr. Isaac Drayton, Sr. She is the mother of five children and three stepchildren. Jannett was employed by many companies until she became an entrepreneur in the Charleston and North Charleston area. She owned her own restaurant which was affectionately known as, “Nett’s Diner”. She was well known in the community. On Friday, November 19, 2021, Jannett transitioned into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Herbert Lee Washington, Joseph J. Washington, Josephine Izzard, Betty Jean Redding and Patricia Ann Smith. She was preceded in death by: Josephine Izzard, Betty Jean Redding, Joseph Washington and Herbert Washington. She leaves to cherish precious memories, her beloved husband, Isaac Drayton, Sr.; children: Reynold Washington, Albertha Chavis (Jerome), Derrick Washington, Marcus Walters, Darren Walters, Isaac Drayton, Jr. (Charnette), Christopher Drayton (Kimberly) and Antwane Drayton (Talecia); 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Eva Green (Charles), Cynthia Dixon (Ricky), Doris Washington, Paulette Washington, Lillie Mae Doctor (Olin), Henry Washington (Delphine), Kenneth Cave (Romona) and Alphonso Washington (Vanessa); aunts & uncles: Earthalee Davis (Joseph) and Dorothy Robinson; in-laws: Michael & Pat Nick, Harold & Martha Bonneau, Michael & Hattie Burns, Mary Jane Wright, Henry & Dora L. Durant, Florine Dennis, Ola P. Brown, Thomas & Patricia Brown, Woodrow & Arlett Wright and John Henry & Julie Ann Wright.
