Mr. Isaac Harold Buncum

Mr. Isaac Harold Buncum, 90, of Ft. Lauderdale Florida, formerly of Mt. Pleasant, SC, transitioned peacefully Saturday morning, November 13, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents: Julius Buncum, Sr. and Carrie Green Buncum; siblings: Ruth Smalls, John P. Buncum, Sr., and Julius Buncum, Jr. Obituary Isaac Harold Buncum was born on August 11, 1931, in Daniel Island, SC to Julius Buncum, Sr. and Carrie Green Buncum. He transitioned peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Isaac graduated from Laing High School and after serving in the United States Air Force, he continued on to Denmark Technical School where he received his Barber license. He moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1958 where he began his Barber career. Due to his outstanding work ethic, he also enjoyed working in real estate where he bought and sold multiple properties; and later as a Skycap at Fort Lauderdale /Hollywood Airport until retirement. Traveling brought Isaac great joy. He was the proud owner of several Recreational Vehicles (RV) throughout the years and found extreme pleasure in traveling with family and friends throughout the United States and abroad. He was an active member of the Broward Kounty Kampers Klub. He was preceded in death by his parents: Julius Buncum, Sr. and Carrie Green Buncum; sister: Ruth Smalls; brothers: John P. Buncum, Sr., and Julius Buncum, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife of 62 years, Clara Neal Buncum; daughter: Iris Nixon (LaNorris); son: Collis Cy Buncum, Sr. (Katina); grandchildren: LaNorris Bryce Nixon, Jorrye Nixon, Collis Cy Buncum, Jr., Braylin Buncum, and Callice Buncum; Bonus granddaughter: Ranesha (Briana) Cline (Robert); great-grandchildren: Heaven Callia Buncum, Nola Amani Nixon, and Hope Buncum; Bonus great-grandchildren: Jacob Cline, Zara Cline, Nova Cline, and Ariyah Cline; brother: Ernell Buncum; sisters: Maybell Addison, Evelyn Smalls, Thelma Buncum and Rosalee Ervin (Sam); sisters-in-law: Christine Buncum and Oralee Buncum; and many other family and friends.
